Les Clefs d’Or Suisse

Grüezi. Bonjour. Buongiorno. Allegra.

Being one of the founding countries, and the native one of Ferdinand Gillet, known as the “Father” of Les Clefs d’Or, Switzerland, is representing the true spirit and values of Les Clefs d’Or Concierges.

Today over 150 Concierges Clefs d’Or are dedicated to welcome and serve guests in more than 70 Luxury Hotels in 30 cities. They are their guides for hidden places all over the country and in the famous cities such as Bern, Basel, Davos, Genève, Gstaad, Lausanne, Lugano, Luzern, St. Moritz, Zermatt and Zürich.

Look beyond the chocolate, watches, cheese, banks and yodeling – contemporary Switzerland, land of four languages, is all about once-in-a-lifetime journeys, heart-racing Alpine pursuits and urban culture. Some places on earth are simply unlike anywhere else. The mere mention of their name is strangely compelling and brings to mind all manner of stunning imagery.

First impressions of Switzerland include its cleanliness, safety and efficient infrastructure. Considerate behavior that shows awareness of others and general helpfulness are held in high regard. The Swiss are also known for their extremely organized nature.
The Matterhorn in Zermatt, the Jungfrau in the Bernese Oberland, Pilatus in Lucerne, the Eiger in Grindelwald– these are the mountains you see in every postcard and poster tempting you to come to Switzerland. In fact, there are fifty-seven 4000m peaks in this small country, which is also home to the Aletsch, Europe’s longest glacier.

The Cities – The Lakes – The Mountains. Whatever you expect from a unique city, Switzerland offers an outstanding diversity.
Today, Switzerland’s cities are also home of many international organizations, like UNO, World Health Organization, FIFA, UEFA and CERN (Tim Berners-Lee, scientist at CERN, invented the World Wide Web (WWW) in 1989)
